He's GI Joe. And he's Duke. What's more to say?
HIstory and credits: I don't like so much of his classic uniform. Looks more like a presentation uniform than a combat one. When the resolute version of his figure was launched at retail, I bought and thought it was perfect; that was until I see a custom Spec Ops Duke made by a member of the Hiss Tank community, called Horus0129 (he's amazing!
). So, when I look at his custom, I thought: THIS is the perfect Duke! So, I used a pic of his custom fig as a reference. You can enjoy the original (and much more outstandig pics) at:

P.S.: I had mixed feelings about him as a character. I like him and his sense of duty; but when the theme is about his relationship with Scarlett, I don't like him. In my mind, Scarlett and Snake Eyes belongs to each other and that's it. Duke is just a combat leader (a damn good one, BTW). So, Im' happy this way, lol!!!!

He's a boring bland character that Larry Hama was forced to put into the comics because of the 80’s cartoon and just to sell toys. Hama hardly every used him at first because G.I. Joe already had a team leader, Hawk. Duke is nothing more an a background character (even to this day) that’s taken the spotlight away from Hawk and always gets in way of Snake Eyes and Scarlett being a couple… at least in the cartoons
